Look at the above. I filled in the percentages. That's interesting but
the above are not adjusted for per capita? Asians commit way fewer
crimes but they're only, what, 4% of the population? They account for
1% of the rape. Thus 25% of their share. **Blacks commit a
disproportionate number of rapes relative to their population** --
%!!!! Whites commit 65% of all rapes.

Without reference it to basal demographic variables, your numbers are
not meaningful.

what's the likelihood of an encounter? There are so many more whites
than blacks in the US. That alone would imply that blacks on a per
capita basis would be much more dangerous. It's like the tornado-car
argument. Cars kill way more people than tornadoes, but each tornado
is considerably higher risk than a given car.

And in any case, perhaps you can tell us. Do blacks commit the
*majority* of murders in this country? In fact it is amazing. Blacks,
in spite of being a small minority, commit more murders than whites --
in total, not per capita - in 2005. (3569 for blacks vs 3445 for
whites!)
