Jiang Zemin's son Jiang Mianheng is rich. There are some fascinating
machinations going on behind the scenes at the highest levels
(Politburo) of the CCP. The following is a sample:

Oct 24 - Our centre has learned that the trial of Zhou Zhengyi [Chau
Ching-ngai] on charges of "bribery" and "forging VAT receipts" took
place at the Shanghai No Two Intermediate People's Court yesterday
morning and this morning. The court will be adjourned this afternoon
and will resume its hearing tomorrow morning. An extremely important
source disclosed to us that Jiang Zemin's son Jiang Mianheng was
suspected of leaking party and state secret to Zhou Zhengyi on the
evening of May 26, 2003. The CCP's highest hierarchy has been keeping
this tape recording the conversion between Jiang Mianheng and Zhou
Zhengyi all the time, but has never made it public. The source also
disclosed to us that the task force handling the Zhou Zhengyi case has
its office at Room 305, Building 3 of Anting Villas in Xuhui District.
Our centre has verified the presence of the task force.

According to the source, Zhou Zhengyi's mobile phone was bugged on May
26, 2006. After learning that Zhou Zhengyi was going to meet with
Jiang Mianheng in a karaoke, the officers concerned installed bugging
devices at various places in advance. Jiang Mianheng's conversation
with Zhou Zhengyi was subsequently taped. The conversation touched on
party and state secrets, including matters relating to Liu Jinbao,
former CEO of the Bank of China in Hong Kong. In order to keep things
from getting out of hand, the officers concerned had Zhou Zhengyi
arrested on the evening of May 26 after Jiang Mianheng left the
karaoke. The tape was sent to the CCP's highest hierarchy. The matter
has so far not been dealt with, and Zhou Zhengyi was handed a lenient
sentence of three years.
